Did You Know?

Oral (spoken) contracts are binding. You need to prove that the contracts/promises were offered. This is where eWitness would help.

Common Tenancy Problems

Withheld Deposit

Landlords might unfairly confiscate tenant’s deposits for unreasonable justifications.

Repair Dispute

Discrepancies whether a repair is considered wear and tear (covered by the landlord) or unnatural damages (covered by the tenant).

Move out Walkthrough

A common “he said/she said” situation occurs when there are damages during move-out but no one is sure whether they were there during move-in.

Non-Payment

Tenants might have promised to make rental payments but did not follow through.

Testimonials

Hear from our happy clients.

” I noticed some damage on my curtain during the move-out walkthrough. The tenant insisted that they were there when they moved in. Luckily, I have a recorded video sent through WhatsApp during the move-in, so we can see they were not there before.”

Varun Cha

Landlord of a Condo Unit

” My landlord tried to take our security deposit away by using unfair excuses that should fall under wear and tear. Luckily, we had proper pictures to back up our claim, and eWitness helped submit a Small Claim Tribunal case. We got our deposit back soon after.”

Dan Jun

Tenant of a Condo Unit
